Prepping for Market Season Part Two
Common questions I have had and seen others ask is
- What are good shows?
- What are good products that sell?
- How many should I bring to a show?
- What should I charge?
- What do I need to use for displays?
These are great questions and I'll attempt to break down how I respond to them - touching base on the second question.
What are good products that sell?
Investing our time to premake products is our biggest expense, so what products sell? I have found my best sellers from the markets I attend and have spoken to other crochet artitsts that have their best sellers. However the numbers are in and here are my top 10 followed by 3 additional from other vendors.
Pop It shrooms
Baby Possums
Sesame Chickens
Mabel Chickens
Nuggets
Keychains
Axolotls
Baby Yoda with Bassinettes
Kitties
Bubble Whales
Additional Favorites from other vendors
Leggy Frogs
Jelly Fish
Sea Turtles
So while market prepping if I will often focus on these top 10s but love bringing a variety of products along with trying new patterns. I'll talk next time about how many I will prep for a show but while you wait for that I have shared some of the items I make for my displays that can be found on my patterns page.
As always, I love crocheting and have given one-on-one sessions for those interested in learning or just learning more and love sharing any knowledge I have collected over the years. If you have any interest in learning more please sign up for my patreon list to be the first to know of new content.
